Tab. IIGEOMETRIA FINITA
Finite geometry and additive codes
Which directions a set of points determines in an affine space over a finite field, and what additive codes such sets give. A co-authored paper is being prepared for submission; its results will go here once it is public.
Tab. IIIIEXAMEN
Adversarial review
Choosing the problem, the research and the write-up are three steps. After each, the work goes to an agent that had no part in it, to find fault; only when it passes does the next step begin. The method has chosen problems, helped write a paper, and turned down two drafts of its own.
Tab. IIIIIIINTERPOLATIO
Daily interpolation of quarterly GDP
Spreading quarterly figures across the days while their sums still equal each quarter exactly. The main line is a state-space model with Kalman smoothing, with Chow–Lin disaggregation for comparison.
